Brent J. Mallek
Brent brings over 30 years of progressive experience in strategic human resource management to Talent Focus Consulting. A proven leader, coach, and teacher, Brent has the ability to see the “big picture” and bring it into focus for action. He has worked at the executive level as the head of Human Resources for companies ranging from small to large with most of his career spent in the highly complex healthcare industry. He is skillful and resourceful when solving complex issues in the workplace.
Brent has demonstrated effectiveness through success in overall operations management as well as the management of specialty areas in human resources such as: talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, cost saving initiatives, organizational design, employee relations, and patient satisfaction. He’s particularly passionate about leadership development and believes that great leaders make great companies. As a consultant, coach, and mentor, Brent enjoys working with owners and leaders who recognize that their success is only as good as their ability to lead, develop, and inspire their team.
Brent is also an excellent communicator and public speaker. He has an easy approach and interactive style in presenting. He has experience teaching at the college level and was often his student’s “favorite teacher”!
Kelly C. Mallek
Kelly brings a unique expertise to Talent Focus Consulting through her 30 years of experience in a variety of business settings. She is a proven leader and business coach. Prior to forming Talent Focus Consulting in 2011, she started, grew and ran her own manufacturer’s distributorship, worked in outside sales, ran retail operations for national corporations, and provided business coaching to several independent businesses. Her practical, hands on approach provides owners and executives the information and resources they need to grow their business.
Kelly believes that business success comes from the culture of the operation, the commitment by leaders to that culture, and the ability of employees to carry out the culture through service. In working with clients, Kelly shares her success and her years of experience to help businesses improve employee engagement and productivity through more effective hiring, retention, training and cultivating a team oriented workforce. Kelly’s clients consistently comment on and appreciate her responsiveness to their needs and find her counsel and approach to problem solving especially beneficial.
